How to Become a Personal Trainer – Part 3 – IFPA Presents
Tuesday, July 27th, 2010
The International Fitness Professionals Association (IFPA) is the ONLY IACET approved organization offering a Personal Fitness Trainer Certification and Course accepted world-wide, holding NOCA/NCCA accreditation; also recommended by A4M, ACASP, WAAAM, and numerous other medical, sports medicine, and physician organizations!
The following is the IFPA’s own; Introduction to Personal Training DVD. In it the basis of personal training is discussed, as well as the most frequent questions asked before undergoing certification!
Obviously, if you have found this site and are now reading this, you are already considering a career as a personal trainer. You might not be aware, but many consider personal training to be one of the fastest growing industries in the United States of America.
Why? Look at what is going on in our society! Exorbitant medical and Healthcare costs, skyrocketing because people know nothing about exercise and less about nutrition. Simultaneously, the “baby boomers” are aging and they don’t want to! They are looking for the fountain of youth and the best place to find it is in the gym under the supervision of a well-trained Personal Trainer.
You might be interested in helping people, you might be passionate about fitness, and you might want to have a dramatic impact on improving our society. But, if you’re like most people that enter the fitness arena for the first time what you really want is to make a lot of money!
What’s the bottom line? How much can I make? How much money is there in personal training? Here are the facts: Earnings potential for personal trainers vary greatly from $35.00 to well over $175.00 an hour.
Exceptional trainers can make over a thousand dollars an hour and for the select few: books, videos, speaking engagements and related businesses can mean much more. Yes, the personal training business has created many, many millionaires. And the best part of the personal training business is that those who have made millions, have created their wealth while working at something they passionately care about, love to do and all while being their own boss — independent of anyone else.
What is the difference between being a $35.00 an hour trainer and a $1,000 an hour millionaire trainer? Hard work, dedication, willingness to learn, to improve, to strive for excellence every minute, of every hour of every day, day in and day out. Constantly, passionately, urgently striving to be the best! Constantly striving for excellence. Improving every aspect of your life mental, emotional, physical and spiritual.
If you are one of those trainers that think $35.00 an hour ($70-$75,000/yr) is a pretty good income, then that’s fine. Then the IFPA Personal Trainer Certification course may be all you will need.
But it you want more, go to www.IFPA-Fitness.com, here you will find a multitude of certification and continuing education courses, offered along with an extensive book — store of the best texts the fitness industry has to offer on fitness, health and nutrition. Everything you see her is designed to help you on your journey to success, regardless of what level of success you aiming for.
Don’t forget “Success is a journey — not a destination!”

Tuesday, July 13th, 2010Pompa – Detoxification, Weight Loss, Chiropractic, and Wellness Clinic Pittsburgh Wexford
Tuesday, July 13th, 2010
http://DrPompa.com Dr. Daniel Pompa is the top weight loss, chiropractic and detoxification clinic in Wexford, Pittsburgh and to many the world. He specializes in neurotoxic illness. Neurotoxic illnesses, or “new millennium illnesses,” can include anything from chronic fatigue and fibromyalgia to autism and other spectrum developmental disorders.
However, there is another disease that Dr. Pompa considers to be neurotoxic-related: weight loss resistance. As a result, weight loss has become the central focus of Dr. Pompa’s practice and seminars.
Dr. Pompa’s holistic approach to treatment along with his unique gift for inspiration has placed Pompa Health Solutions at the vanguard of a new movement in medicine and brought hope to thousands of people for whom living healthy would have otherwise been impossible.
” For some reason we’ve abandoned the understanding that the body has an inherent capacity to heal itself,” says Dr. Pompa. “Somewhere along the way we started simply covering up symptoms. But treating the symptom and not the underlying problem is not health care. All we can really do as physicians, if we truly want to help people, is remove that interference and let the body do its own healing. ”
Dr. Pompa does not take much credit for his now nationally taught detoxification and nutritional protocols. His secrets to true detoxification and Wellness were developed after his own battle with debilitating chronic fatigue, anxiety, and a host of other unexplainable symptoms. Suffering himself he now offers hope and healing to so many doctors and individuals treating and/or suffering from another ” unexplainable illness “. ” The only reason I have authority in this area is because God has given me victory .” Christian
